About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is hiring a System Architecture Intern to join our team in Windsor Locks, Connecticut. This is a full-time, paid, on-site internship. You will work on complex aviation systems while gaining hands-on experience in engineering analysis and technical planning.
What you'll do#
- Perform system-level analysis across the product lifecycle, including concept, design, modeling, installation, operation, and maintenance.
- Build advanced mathematical models and computer analysis methods to evaluate or modify designs based on engineering requirements.
- Conduct system-level thermal fluid analysis.
- Write technical reports to document your findings and recommendations.
- Contribute to the technical planning process for system engineering projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related STEM field.
- U.S. Person status as defined by 8 U.S.C. 1324b(a)(3).
- Experience with research and development projects is preferred.
- Familiarity with DOORS, Polarion ALM, and MATLAB/Simulink/StateFlow is strongly desired.
