About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is hiring a Manufacturing Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in McKinney, Texas. You will work directly within the factory environment to support production operations and the manufacturing discipline.
What you'll do#
- Translate design requirements into manufacturing processes.
- Use Raytheon systems and tools to support manufacturing workflows.
- Support factory operations to ensure process and design requirements are met.
- Drive continuous improvements to reduce manufacturing costs, defects, and cycle times.
- Support objectives related to cost, quality, schedule, and safety.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program in Mechanical Engineering.
- Education or experience with manufacturing processes.
- Familiarity with technical writing and the interpretation of technical documentation.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
