About the role#
Murray Company is hiring a Design Engineer Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position located in Cypress, California. You will work with our engineering team to support mechanical projects and gain hands-on experience in the construction industry.
What you'll do#
- Assist in the design and development of mechanical systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and piping.
- Work with senior engineers to create and update CAD drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Perform load calculations, equipment selection, and system layouts.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure projects meet industry standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited university program pursuing a degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week for the duration of the internship.
- Authorization to work in the United States without company sponsorship.
