About the role#
Pratt & Whitney is hiring a Logistics Engineering Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Huntsville, Alabama. You will join the Life Cycle Engineering team to support products from design through validation, integration, and long-term sustainment. Please note that this role requires U.S. citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Department of Defense Secret security clearance.
What you'll do#
- Support Integrated Logistics Support tasks, including reliability and spare parts analysis.
- Develop, validate, and maintain technical documentation, such as manuals, provisioning data, and training materials.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to troubleshoot technical issues and resolve sustainment challenges.
- Inform product design decisions while ensuring compliance with technical standards and program objectives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor’s or Advanced degree program for Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering.
- Completion of at least 30 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues, gained through coursework, research, projects, or previous work.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
