About the role#
As an Operations and Test Engineering Intern, you will support the planning, execution, and analysis of flight tests for high-Mach and hypersonic aircraft. You will work directly with our engineering teams to gain experience with real-world aerospace challenges and contribute to our test campaigns.
What you'll do#
- Work with experienced engineers on flight test planning and execution.
- Monitor test parameters and interpret flight data to improve system performance and safety.
- Partner with the team to refine test processes.
- Develop your understanding of flight dynamics and aircraft systems.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a STEM program as a third or fourth-year undergraduate, or as a Master's or Ph.D. student.
- Practical experience designing, building, and testing vehicles through projects or previous internships.
- A strong understanding of engineering first principles.
- Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- A genuine interest in flight testing and aviation.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Eligibility to access information subject to U.S. export controls.

- Location: Los Angeles, California.
- Modality: On-site.
- Commitment: Full-time.
- Terms: Summer 2026 (approximately 10 weeks) or Fall 2027 (approximately 16 weeks).
- Compensation: This is a paid internship.
