    About the role#

    As an Operations and Test Engineering Intern, you will support the planning, execution, and analysis of flight tests for high-Mach and hypersonic aircraft. You will work directly with our engineering teams to gain experience with real-world aerospace challenges and contribute to our test campaigns.

    What you'll do#

    • Work with experienced engineers on flight test planning and execution.
    • Monitor test parameters and interpret flight data to improve system performance and safety.
    • Partner with the team to refine test processes.
    • Develop your understanding of flight dynamics and aircraft systems.

    What you'll need#

    • Current enrollment in a STEM program as a third or fourth-year undergraduate, or as a Master's or Ph.D. student.
    • Practical experience designing, building, and testing vehicles through projects or previous internships.
    • A strong understanding of engineering first principles.
    • Ability to work effectively within cross-functional teams.
    • A GPA of 3.0 or above.
    • A genuine interest in flight testing and aviation.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    • Eligibility to access information subject to U.S. export controls.

    • Location: Los Angeles, California.
    • Modality: On-site.
    • Commitment: Full-time.
    • Terms: Summer 2026 (approximately 10 weeks) or Fall 2027 (approximately 16 weeks).
    • Compensation: This is a paid internship.
