About the role#
Airbus is hiring a Business Operations intern for the Summer 2027 program. You will join the Operations team in Dulles, Virginia, to support logistics and material management. This role focuses on optimizing warehouse processes and driving operational efficiency. You will gain hands-on experience by working alongside logistics professionals in an office and warehouse setting.
What you'll do#
- Map current warehouse processes to identify efficiency improvements.
- Collect and analyze operational data to create reports and presentations.
- Document standard operating procedures for new or updated fulfillment workflows.
- Coordinate training materials for warehouse staff.
- Work with the warehouse team to confirm adherence to safety and quality standards.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Business Administration, Operations Management, Logistics, or Industrial Engineering.
- Proficiency with Google Suite products.
- Demonstrated ability to manage time and own projects.
- Prior experience with process documentation or mapping through academic or extracurricular projects.
- Experience in manipulating, validating, and presenting data.
- Ability to work in the United States without visa sponsorship.
