About the role#
Join the Methods configuration team for a 4-month internship starting September 8, 2025. This role offers the opportunity to work within an international aviation environment on strategic projects. You will be treated as a core team member, participating in weekly meetings and collaborating across various assembly plant functions.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple small to medium scale projects simultaneously.
- Establish project timelines and present them to internal clients.
- Create and update layout drawings using AutoCAD.
- Support workplace organization and redevelopment efforts.
- Perform production time studies using STAT UMT, Access, and Excel.
- Compile and analyze production data to generate reports on improvement opportunities.
- Participate in the development of standard methodologies and process improvements within the Airbus Achieving Excellence System.
- Create technical documentation, tools, and templates.
What you'll need#
- Currently completing a bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or automated production engineering, with at least one year of studies completed.
- Strong project management skills and an organized approach to meeting deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French, with functional proficiency in English.
- Demonstrated interest in Lean Manufacturing, continuous improvement, and process optimization.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite and basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
- Ability to work autonomously with a client-oriented mindset.
Location & details#
- Location: Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.
- Term: Fall 2025 (4 months).
- Modality: Hybrid (up to 2 days of remote work per week).
- Schedule: Full-time (40 hours per week).
