About the role#
This internship offers the opportunity to work within the Methods Configuration department on strategic projects at an international aerospace company. You will be integrated into the team as a valuable contributor, participating in weekly meetings and collaborating across different functions of an assembly plant. This is a 4-month position beginning September 8, 2025.
What you'll do#
- Manage multiple small to medium-scale projects simultaneously.
- Establish project timelines and present them to internal clients.
- Create and update layout drawings using AutoCAD.
- Support workplace organization and redevelopment efforts.
- Perform production time studies using STAT UMT, Access, and Excel.
- Compile and analyze data to produce reports identifying opportunities for process improvement.
- Contribute to the development of team methodologies and technical documentation.
- Participate in process improvements within the Achieving Excellence System.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in industrial, mechanical, or automated production engineering, with at least one year of study completed.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to meet deadlines.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills in French and functional proficiency in English.
- Interest in continuous improvement, Lean Manufacturing, and process optimization.
- Proficiency in the Microsoft Office suite.
- Basic knowledge of AutoCAD and Microsoft Project.
- A professional, autonomous, and client-oriented approach.

- Location: Mirabel, Quebec, Canada.
- Modality: Hybrid (with the possibility of remote work up to 2 days per week).
- Term: Fall 2025 (4 months).
- Schedule: 40 hours per week.
