About the role#
This internship supports the U.S. Capital Expenditures (CapEx) Director within the Operational Excellence Department. You will assist in the strategic management and governance of the capital investment portfolio for Airbus U.S. Operations. This role is based at the manufacturing facility in Mobile, Alabama, and focuses on aligning investment projects with company objectives.
What you'll do#
- Gather data and prepare documentation for the Capital Investment Strategy.
- Support the development and documentation of a multi-year investment roadmap.
- Assess CapEx investment projects and conduct make vs buy analyses based on hourly rates and unit costs.
- Organize and document CapEx governance meetings, such as change control boards.
- Collect data for performance reporting and cascades for the Senior Leadership Team.
- Track company requirements for CapEx funded projects and monitor the end-to-end deployment of assets.
- Provide administrative support for major capital programs and construction projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a college or university degree program, preferably in Finance or Business Administration.
- Proficiency with Microsoft and Google Suite software.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Ability to work on-site in Mobile, Alabama, for the duration of the Summer 2027 term.
- Authorization to work in the United States without the need for current or future visa sponsorship.
