About the role#
As a Government Operations Intern, you will learn how our team implements strategy to achieve internal priorities with state and local governments. You will work alongside mentors and other employees to apply your knowledge and grow your skills while contributing to real-world projects.
What you'll do#
- Apply industry concepts to solve challenges.
- Attend frequent 1:1 meetings with mentors and supervisors to review your progress.
- Participate in tech talks and professional events.
- Lead development projects.
- Collaborate across teams to deliver results.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a bachelor’s, master's, or doctorate program in Business Administration, Public Policy, Political Science, or a related field.
- At least one semester of school remaining after the internship.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- At least 3 months of corporate experience in federal government, elections, policy, or corporate Government Operations.
- Ability to thrive in ambiguity and work in small, high-performing teams.
- Preferred: A GPA of 3.5 or above.
- Preferred: 6+ months of corporate experience in Government Operations.
- Preferred: Knowledge of the legislative process and space policy.
Location & details#
- This is a full-time, on-site internship based in Washington, DC.
- The term is Summer 2027.
- You must be able to work full-time on-site for at least 12 consecutive weeks starting in May or June 2027.
- Pay is $22.00 per hour.
