About the role#
This internship provides experience within the Operations, Supply Chain, and Quality division. You will work with the Program Management Office, Engineering, Logistics, and Finance teams to support procurement activities. This role is based in Andover, Massachusetts, and is scheduled for the Summer 2027 term.
What you'll do#
- Place and support purchase orders for low to medium dollar levels.
- Manage supplier relationships, development, and performance.
- Prepare solicitations including RFQs, RFPs, RFI, and IDIQ documents.
- Analyze quotations and proposals using price and cost analysis techniques.
- Track and report on procurement metrics.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's or advanced degree program in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
- Completion of at least 60 credit hours by the start of the internship.
- U.S. citizenship is required for this role.
- Experience with supply chain processes and Microsoft Office tools.
- Preferred qualifications include experience in a defense contracting environment or familiarity with SAP/PRISM software.
