About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in the marine logistics sector. You will work alongside experienced professionals to support warehouse, logistics, and expeditor departments. This is a full-time, paid position for Summer 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with continuous improvement activities across warehouse and logistics operations.
- Map out workflows to identify waste and low-value activities.
- Recommend solutions to address both simple and complex organizational problems.
- Analyze existing processes using techniques like gap analysis, PDCA, and Kaizen.
- Complete technical tasks and milestones for specific projects.
- Develop and present clear improvement plans.
What you'll need#
- Current pursuit or completion of a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
- Knowledge of statistical techniques and their applications.
- Ability to organize and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Strong written and oral communication skills.
- Good interpersonal skills.
- Ability to obtain a Security Clearance.
