About the role#
As a Flight Software Engineering Intern, you will support the design and implementation of mission systems for uncrewed high-speed aircraft. You will work with the A-GRA (OMS/UCI) framework to develop interoperable systems and messaging architectures that enable communication between mission subsystems.
What you'll do#
- Support the design and implementation of systems using A-GRA (OMS/UCI) for uncrewed high-speed aircraft.
- Assist in developing and integrating messaging systems that enable communication between mission subsystems.
- Work with messaging standards, protocols, and APIs to support system interoperability.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to test, validate, and refine mission system interfaces and integrations.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Entry level experience with C++, C, or other embedded programming languages.
- Experience with hardware integrations and embedded computers such as Raspberry PIs, Arduinos, or STM32s.
- Strong understanding of engineering first principles.
- Demonstrated ability to work within cross-functional teams.
- Interest in mission systems, autonomy, or aerospace systems integration.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Must be a U.S. person as defined by 22 C.F.R. 120.62 to meet U.S. export control requirements.

- Location: Atlanta, Georgia.
- Modality: On-site.
- Term: Summer 2026 (approximately 10 weeks, May through August) or Fall 2026 (approximately 16 weeks, September through December).
- Employment type: Full-time internship.
