About the role#
Join our team to develop software for the Quarterhorse supersonic unmanned aircraft. You will build control systems for both remotely piloted and autonomous flight modes using C++ and web technologies. This role involves designing and implementing user interfaces that range from hands-on controls to autonomy management.
What you'll do#
- Develop human-machine interaction software for flight crew control and simulations.
- Build communications software for RF, Satcom, and networking on the ground and the vehicle.
- Collaborate with flight crew to assess the usability of cockpit software and hardware.
- Work with engineers to display and control hardware systems.
- Participate in all stages of the software development lifecycle, from planning and design to testing and user evaluation.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a rising senior undergraduate, Master's, or Ph.D. student.
- Pursuit of a degree in Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with C/C++.
- Experience with web application technologies such as JavaScript, TypeScript, React, Angular, or Electron.
- A strong understanding of engineering first principles.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.

- This is a paid, full-time internship.
