About the role#
As a Propulsion Test Engineering Intern, you will gain hands-on experience with high-performance propulsion systems. You will support engine and system-level testing by working with engineers and technicians to set up test campaigns, monitor data, and troubleshoot issues. This role contributes directly to our hypersonic development efforts.
What you'll do#
- Assist in designing, setting up, and operating test stands while learning the fundamentals of propulsion system testing.
- Instrument test setups, monitor test conditions, and analyze performance data to help with system improvements and troubleshooting.
- Partner with engineers and technicians to refine test processes, enhance safety procedures, and develop a deeper understanding of propulsion systems.
What you'll need#
- Practical experience designing, building, and testing vehicles through projects, studies, or internships.
- Current enrollment in a STEM program at an accredited college or university as a third or fourth-year undergraduate, or as a Master's or Ph.D. student.
- A strong understanding of engineering first principles and a clear interest in propulsion systems.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Ability to work well within cross-functional teams.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Enthusiasm for aviation and our mission.

- Location: Jacksonville, Florida.
- Term: Winter 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: Paid position with an hourly rate of 25 to 33 USD, depending on degree level.
