About the role#
The Mission Systems Engineering team builds and integrates the hardware and software that allow our aircraft to complete missions. As an intern, you will work across avionics, software, communications, and system integration. You will help build, test, and troubleshoot mission capabilities while gaining hands-on experience in a technical environment.
What you'll do#
- Support the integration and testing of mission hardware, software, sensors, radios, processors, and avionics systems.
- Develop and test software for command and control, telemetry, and subsystem interfaces.
- Perform hardware and software bring-up, debugging, and troubleshooting in lab, HIL, ground-test, and aircraft environments.
- Support system interfaces, networking, communication protocols, and integration requirements.
- Document test results, technical findings, and system configurations.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Aerospace Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field.
- A GPA of 3.0 or above.
- Hands-on experience with both software development and hardware integration through internships, coursework, research, projects, or competition teams.
- Programming experience in C++, Python, or a similar language.
- Experience working with embedded systems, electronics, avionics, sensors, or networking.

- Terms: Winter 2027 and Summer 2027.
- Status: This is a paid, full-time internship.
