About the role#
This summer internship provides practical work experience within the Energy Efficiency and Conservation team at PPL Corporation. You will gain exposure to program design, vendor management, and data analytics while working in a corporate environment. The role is based in Allentown, Pennsylvania, and follows a hybrid work schedule.
What you'll do#
- Support customer-facing programs focused on energy efficiency and peak demand reduction.
- Assist program managers with invoice reviews, database reporting, and daily departmental functions.
- Track program participation data and energy savings metrics.
- Help with the design and implementation of pilot programs.
- Communicate with external vendors and partners to address eligibility issues, customer concerns, and project proposals.
- Identify and suggest process improvements within the workflow.
- Perform other assigned duties as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited college or university as a full-time student.
- Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
- A cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher.
- Eligibility to work under United States Citizenship and Immigration Services regulations.
- Ability to provide official transcripts and required documentation.
- At least 18 years of age.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
