About the role#
This internship focuses on the strategy and customer experience behind residential energy programs and rebates. You will work alongside product strategy experts to support residential initiatives while managing delivery for one to three specific projects. You will gain insight into how we align customer energy needs with environmental targets and company objectives.
What you'll do#
- Facilitate journey mapping sessions to understand how customers engage with products through digital and non-digital channels.
- Support and manage project plans that guide customers through purchase journeys for energy programs and rebates.
- Collaborate with technical teams to analyze energy data and understand the systems that enable our programs.
- Assist with RFPs and other regulatory or business filings as needed.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a Junior or higher at an accredited college or university.
- Pursuing a degree in Business, Environmental Science, Economics, Environmental Studies, Communications, Management, Legal and Regulatory Compliance, or related fields.
- Ability to work full-time during the summer and part-time during the school year.
- Direct experience with energy products and services, project management, or data analysis.
- Familiarity with project management principles and user experience fundamentals.

- Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota.
- Term: Summer 2027, starting May 24, 2027.
- Modality: Hybrid, with at least 3 days per week on-site.
- Compensation: Paid internship position.
