About the role#
This internship supports the Customer Experience Research and Strategy departments at Tampa Electric. You will help measure customer satisfaction by collecting and analyzing data to identify preferences and behaviors. The work involves turning raw data into insights that guide business strategy and improve the experience for both customers and employees.
What you'll do#
- Support qualitative and quantitative research studies.
- Develop and implement strategic planning frameworks.
- Map and analyze customer journeys to enhance user experience.
- Design dashboards and applications using Power BI and Power App.
- Create survey questions and build survey instruments.
- Assist with participant recruitment and general data monitoring.
- Collaborate with internal teams on experience improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in an accredited undergraduate or graduate program, preferably seeking a bachelor degree.
- Enrollment in a university co-op program is preferred.
- Relevant coursework in Communications, Psychology, Marketing, Public Health, or Statistics.
- Proficiency in MS Office, specifically Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with Qualtrics, statistical software, or Power BI is preferred.
- Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screening and background check.

- Status: Part-time (20-30 hours per week).
