About the role#
PCL Construction is looking for an HRPD Systems Business Analyst Student to join the team at our North American Headquarters in Edmonton, Alberta. This is a full-time, paid internship for an 8-month term beginning in January 2027.
What you'll do#
- Provide support to system users and respond to service requests.
- Troubleshoot incidents and investigate system problems.
- Create and update processes, training resources, and system documentation.
- Deliver web-based training to end users.
- Develop stakeholder communications and document requirements for new systems.
- Create and update use cases to support functional designs, user acceptance testing, and requirements analysis.
- Participate in system pilots, rollouts, configuration, and testing.
- Coordinate with subject matter experts to refine requirements.
- Liaise with business, technology, and support teams to ensure systems meet business needs.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a relevant program such as Business Systems Analysis, Business Technology Management, or Information Systems.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well within cross-functional teams.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with user support, delivering training, or technical writing is an asset.
- Familiarity with HR systems and processes is a plus.
