About the role#
Aecon is seeking an Integrated Digital Delivery Co-op to support transit projects within the Urban Transportation Solutions group. This role focuses on the technical coordination of digital models and data management to improve construction planning and execution.
What you'll do#
- Manage and maintain Common Data Environments for project teams.
- Support the creation, validation, and coordination of 3D BIM models.
- Perform clash detection, issue tracking, and quality assurance tasks.
- Prepare project documentation such as model content plans, dashboards, and LOD matrices.
- Conduct digital design validation, quantity take-offs, and reporting.
- Collaborate with engineers and project managers to support information exchange.
- Assist with training sessions and workshops regarding BIM processes.
- Integrate geospatial data, survey information, and technical drawings into federated models.
- Track action items during coordination meetings.
- Maintain records of model revisions and deliverables according to company standards.
- Promote an inclusive work culture that values different perspectives.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field.
- A basic understanding of BIM concepts and construction processes.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow established standards and procedures.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Willingness to learn new digital tools and workflows.
- An interest in digital innovation and continuous improvement.
- Familiarity with software such as Autodesk Revit, Navisworks, or Civil 3D is an asset.

- Compensation: $22 to $28 per hour, depending on experience and education.
