About the role#
Aecon is looking for a co-op student to support our project design team on a major civil infrastructure project in the GTA. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site.
What you'll do#
- Complete design calculations and drawings that meet code and regulation requirements.
- Help prepare schedules, estimates, and construction packages.
- Manage files and correspondence for active and completed projects.
- Assist in submitting as-built drawings.
- Collect field information and prepare project bills of materials.
- Handle administrative tasks such as filing, typing, copying, binding, scanning, and plotting.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a university or technical college program for Civil Engineering or Construction Management.
- Strong communication skills for working with large teams.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
- A service-oriented mindset and the ability to adapt to flexible schedules to meet deadlines.
- Previous experience in the construction industry is an asset.
- Proficiency in AutoCAD is an asset.

- Location: Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Pay Range: $23 - $28 per hour.
