About the role#
Aecon Group Inc. is hiring a Junior Project Coordinator to join their team in Pickering, Ontario. This is a full-time, paid, on-site role. You will assist in various project areas based on business needs, working within a large team environment.
What you'll do#
- Maintain the engineering scopes work breakdown structure by communicating with the engineering team and manager.
- Share updates and changes from the engineering team with other project groups, such as scheduling, project controls, and construction.
- Organize internal and client meetings and prepare meeting minutes.
- Track action items from engineering meetings to update the Action Items register.
- Coordinate requests for information between the project, vendors, and the client.
What you'll need#
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Between 0 and 2 years of relevant experience.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- The ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities at once.
- Clear oral and written communication skills.

- Compensation: $25 - $28 per hour, depending on experience, education, and skills.
