About the role#
We are looking for a student to join the Sustainability and Social Impact team for the summer of 2027. You will support our core business through sustainability reporting, community investment, and employee engagement efforts. This role provides direct exposure to sustainability topics and requires flexibility to support evolving projects throughout the term.
What you'll do#
- Collect, organize, and analyze sustainability and community investment data, including peer benchmarking.
- Research emerging sustainability issues, policies, and regulations to summarize findings for internal stakeholders.
- Prepare responses for sustainability-focused surveys and questionnaires.
- Assist with planning community investment and volunteer events to support employee participation.
- Support the development of internal and external communications, including social media content.
- Collaborate with team members and internal partners on shifting priorities.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in your second or third year of a related discipline, such as business, political science, public policy, or communications.
- Must be enrolled as a full-time student through December 2027.
- Strong research, analytical, and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work independently, and collaborate across teams.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
- Curiosity, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.
- Solid academic results balanced with volunteer or extracurricular experience.
- Experience with data visualization or content-development tools is an asset.
- Legally eligible to work in Canada without sponsorship.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta.
- Term: May 3 to August 19, 2027.
- Work Modality: On-site.
- Compensation: $22.50 to $31.15 per hour, depending on year of study.
