About the role#
As an intern in the Chief Digital Office, you will work with an experienced mentor to apply your academic knowledge to projects that support our operational and corporate teams. This role is for students interested in technology careers or engineering students who want to focus on software, data, or digital solutions. You will work on hands-on projects designed to build your technical skills while contributing to our business.
What you'll do#
- Support full-stack application development, workflow automation, and testing.
- Assist with data engineering, analytics, visualization, business intelligence, data science, or AI solutions.
- Perform threat monitoring, vulnerability and risk assessments, security technology administration, incident response preparedness, audits, and security awareness activities.
- Help with cloud, infrastructure, network, application, or end-user technology projects and troubleshooting.
- Apply engineering knowledge and technology to challenges involving drilling, completions, production, or facilities.
- Improve processes, gather requirements, and coordinate technology initiatives using agile project delivery methods.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a full-time student in a bachelor's degree program for computer science, software engineering, data science, management information systems, cybersecurity, petroleum engineering, electrical engineering, mechanical engineering, computer or systems engineering, mathematics, statistics, business analytics, or a related technical field.
- Must remain enrolled as a full-time student through December 2027.
- Availability to work from May 17 through August 5, 2027.
- Solid academic results balanced with work, volunteer, or extracurricular experience.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, planning, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work as part of a team, along with curiosity, self-motivation, and attention to detail.

- Locations: Denver, Colorado or The Woodlands, Texas.
- Term: Summer 2027.
- Modality: On-site.
- Employment type: Full-time.
- Compensation: $27.19 to $39.66 per hour, depending on your year in school.
