About the role#
We are looking for a student intern to join our team and support internal communications. You will help inform, engage, and connect employees across the organization. This position offers hands-on experience in corporate communications, digital publishing, and content management. You will work alongside experienced professionals on projects that support our operations.
What you'll do#
- Publish content on the company intranet.
- Build and distribute employee newsletters, such as the Weekly Wrap and Leaders' Digest.
- Support communication initiatives and various activation teams.
- Draft, edit, review, and format communication materials.
- Assist with content development and communications planning.
- Provide support through the Communications Shared Services portal.
- Help other teams within the Communications department as needed.
- Suggest improvements for communication processes and resources.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited degree program in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Marketing, English, or a related field.
- Completion of at least one academic term before May 2027.
- Intent to return to full-time studies after the work term.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Experience with Microsoft 365, SharePoint, and Monday.com.
- Previous volunteer experience in communications, marketing, or content development.
- A strong background in writing, editing, and proofreading.
- A commitment to safety and TC Energy corporate values.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
