About the role#
This internship provides hands-on experience in portfolio planning, project controls, and program coordination. You will work with project data, reporting processes, and cross-functional teams to support the delivery of energy infrastructure projects. This role involves exposure to governance reporting, stakeholder engagement, and initiatives aimed at improving project execution.
What you'll do#
- Maintain and validate project data in portfolio management systems to ensure accuracy.
- Track, consolidate, and analyze program metrics for leadership reviews and governance reporting.
- Coordinate reporting cycles and standard work activities.
- Assist with planning and organizing program-level initiatives.
- Work with stakeholders across Engineering, Supply Chain, and Operations to align project progress.
- Identify process gaps and contribute to continuous improvement efforts.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an accredited Engineering degree program (Computer, Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Chemical, Industrial, or Aerospace).
- Completion of at least one academic term before May 2027 and a return to full-time studies after the work term.
- Availability to work 40 hours per week.
- Experience with project planning, scheduling, or portfolio management processes.
- Knowledge of project reporting, performance metrics, and governance practices.
- Experience supporting cross-functional project coordination or enterprise planning systems.
- Exposure to data analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong interpersonal and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and navigate ambiguity.
