About the role#
We are looking for a Student Intern to support the development and improvement of business solutions using Microsoft Power Platform. You will gain hands-on experience in application development, workflow automation, and business intelligence. Working with business stakeholders and technical teams, you will help build solutions that improve efficiency and support decision-making.
What you'll do#
- Design and develop solutions using Power Apps, including canvas and model-driven applications.
- Use Power Automate to streamline business processes through workflow automation.
- Build and maintain dashboards, reports, and visualizations in Power BI.
- Support the use of Power Platform Copilot, AI Builder, and other AI tools.
- Gather requirements from stakeholders and translate them into technical designs.
- Test, debug, and enhance existing Power Platform solutions.
- Document business processes, technical designs, and solution requirements.
- Identify opportunities for automation and contribute to continuous improvement.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in an Information Systems, Computer Science, Business, or related degree program.
- Completed at least one academic term before May 2027.
- Must return to full-time studies immediately following the work term.
- Available to work full-time (40 hours per week) from May 2027 to August 2027.
- Basic understanding of data concepts, business processes, or application development.
- Familiarity with Microsoft tools like Excel, SharePoint, and Teams.
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
- Interest in artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts.
- Basic knowledge of SQL, APIs, JavaScript, Python, or other scripting languages.
- Experience with data visualization or business intelligence tools.
- Understanding of low-code or no-code development principles.
- Strong communication skills and an ability to build professional relationships.
- Ability to analyze information and manage multiple tasks in a changing environment.
