About the role#
HF Sinclair is seeking a Renewables Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This position is based in Dallas, Texas, and involves supporting commercial operations initiatives for the renewables organization under close supervision.
What you'll do#
- Support commercial operations through routine assignments.
- Generate reports to monitor business performance and track key performance indicators.
- Review renewables contracts and pricing for accuracy.
- Assist with feedstock and product distribution at renewable facilities.
- Coordinate with scheduling, billing, and accounting groups to ensure invoices are accurate and prompt.
- Ensure contract and pricing documentation meets audit and SOX requirements.
- Liaise with internal departments including Refinery Accounting, Credit, Marketing, Tax, and Data Integrity.
- Complete special assignments as directed by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelors or Masters degree program in business, business analytics, supply chain management, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excel, specifically V-Lookup and pivot tables.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple complex requirements simultaneously.
- Strong project management and problem-solving skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Intermediate reading, writing, and mathematical abilities.
- A results-oriented mindset and the initiative to work independently.

- Note: This role requires the ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 20 lbs, climbing up to 40 feet, and wearing personal protective equipment.
