About the role#
HF Sinclair is seeking a Supply Chain Co-Op to work in our Procurement department in Dallas, Texas. This six-month position offers hands-on experience with category management, spend analytics, and supplier engagement. You will work under close supervision to support our daily operations and strategic sourcing projects.
What you'll do#
- Analyze procurement and spend data to find trends, savings opportunities, and performance metrics.
- Create reports, dashboards, and presentations for leadership and stakeholders.
- Support strategic sourcing, including market research, bid preparation, and supplier evaluations.
- Assist category managers in building and executing multi-year sourcing plans.
- Conduct research on supply market conditions, pricing, and potential risks.
- Help with supplier onboarding and procurement process improvements.
- Assist with supply chain technology initiatives, including testing and data validation.
- Review procurement data to ensure accuracy and compliance.
- Attend supplier meetings, internal stakeholder sessions, and project team calls.
What you'll need#
- Some completed coursework toward a Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain or a related field.
- Basic knowledge of strategic sourcing and procurement principles.
- Proficiency with word processing, database, email, and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to perform intermediate clerical and data entry tasks.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to organize data.
- Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
