About the role#
HF Sinclair is seeking an Accounting Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Dallas, Texas. You will work under the supervision of accountants to complete routine financial assignments and support daily operations.
What you'll do#
- Prepare accounting statements and reports.
- Review, update, and maintain files on a daily and monthly basis.
- Perform financial analysis and make accounting entries.
- Process credit card file reports and invoice marketers.
- Measure volumes and track actual versus scheduled volumes by site.
- Track and enter master file additions, changes, and de-branding updates.
- Complete special assignments as directed by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Completed coursework toward a Bachelor's or Master's degree in accounting or finance.
- An entry-level understanding of accounting practices and procedures.
- Ability to perform basic accounting analysis and mathematical calculations.
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft products.
- Intermediate reading and writing skills.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Experience with accounting and maintenance software is preferred.
- Experience in revenue accounting is a plus.
