About the role#
HF Sinclair is seeking an IT Data Analytics Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This role is based in Dallas, Texas. You will work alongside cross-functional teams and vendors to support data-driven decision making. This internship provides hands-on experience in analytics, automation, and artificial intelligence.
What you'll do#
- Design and implement data collection, analysis, and AI-driven processes.
- Gather and clean data from diverse sources to find trends and actionable insights.
- Support the development and deployment of machine learning models.
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analyses using tools like Excel, SQL, Power BI, Alteryx, Snowflake, and Azure.
- Create data visualizations and reports to share findings and recommendations.
- Collaborate with team members on analytical projects.
- Manage tickets and tasks to ensure timely completion.
- Participate in special projects focused on AI, automation, and data science.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in an Undergraduate or Master's program for Computer Science or a related field.
- Familiarity with databases, data visualization, and AI/ML tools.
- A strong interest in technology, artificial intelligence, and analytics.
- Effective communication skills and a customer-centric approach.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
