About the role#
HF Sinclair is hiring a Procurement Intern for the Summer 2027 term. You will work under close supervision to conduct routine strategic sourcing and supply chain projects. This is a full-time, paid position based on-site at our corporate office in Dallas, Texas, or our refinery in Tulsa, Oklahoma.
What you'll do#
- Research and extract spend data from company systems to identify trends and performance metrics.
- Create reports for managers and business stakeholders.
- Conduct industry and market research to support assigned categories.
- Assist in the design and business interface of multi-year category management plans.
- Support supply chain system implementations.
- Maintain quality control processes to ensure accurate data and coding.
- Attend functional Procurement meetings and conference calls.
- Handle ad-hoc reporting and special assignments as requested by your supervisor.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Supply Chain or a related field, with some completed coursework.
- Basic knowledge of strategic sourcing, procurement principles, and administrative procedures.
- Proficiency with word processing, database, email, and spreadsheet software.
- Ability to perform intermediate mathematical calculations.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to organize and review data.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to handle intermediate clerical and data entry tasks.
