About the role#
This 10-week summer internship program provides hands-on experience within our Ready-Mix division. You will gain exposure to core functions including cement manufacturing, process improvements, quality and reliability, equipment maintenance, and data management. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Tampa, Florida.
What you'll do#
- Promote and ensure a safe working environment for all team members.
- Engage in project-based work to solve real-world operational problems.
- Develop technical and soft skills through daily tasks and mentorship.
- Present your project outcomes and findings to the leadership team.
- Build professional connections with peers and industry experts.
- Develop and suggest innovative solutions for process improvement.
What you'll need#
- Active pursuit of a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Concrete Industry Management, or Construction Management.
- At least junior year standing.
- A GPA of 2.5 or above.
- Demonstrated leadership qualities and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Strong analytical and communication skills, including the ability to present ideas clearly.
- Previous experience from internships, co-op programs, or university projects.
- Comfort with both independent work and team collaboration.
Location & details#
- Location: Tampa, Florida.
- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
- Environment: A mix of office work and fieldwork with exposure to varying outdoor conditions.
- Term: Summer 2027.
