About the role#
As a Commercial Optimization Co-op Student, you will support decision making and strategy across the AltaGas Midstream platform. You will work alongside front-office teams to create value through analysis and collaboration. This role is suited for students who enjoy solving complex problems and applying their skills to real business challenges.
What you'll do#
- Support large-scale modelling efforts for LPG Exports, Supply, and Marketing businesses.
- Prepare, analyze, and distribute daily, weekly, and monthly reports.
- Contribute to building new analytical methods and associated processes.
- Assist front-office and planning teams.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in the 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree in Economics, Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, Business, Finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and modelling skills.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel.
- A continuous improvement mindset.
- A strong desire to learn and the confidence to ask thoughtful questions.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta, Canada.
- Modality: On-site.
- Duration: 8-month terms available during Winter, Summer, and Fall 2027.
