About the role#
This is an 8-month co-op position based in Calgary. You will work alongside finance and accounting professionals to support the Midstream business. The role provides hands-on experience with financial functions while allowing you to develop technical and problem-solving skills.
What you'll do#
- Support finance and accounting activities across the Midstream business.
- Assist with financial reporting, analysis, and month-end accounting processes.
- Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other financial documentation.
- Analyze financial results to investigate trends and variances.
- Collaborate with Finance, Accounting, Operations, and Commercial teams.
- Contribute to special projects and process improvement initiatives.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in the 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel, specifically with pivot tables, formulas, and data analysis.
- An analytical mindset with high attention to detail.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
