About the role#
AltaGas is looking for a student to join our Communications team for a 4-month summer internship. This position offers hands-on experience in corporate communications, including mentorship from experienced professionals and networking opportunities. Interns participate in professional development sessions, executive speaker opportunities, and a capstone project.
What you'll do#
- Draft and edit content for internal channels like the intranet and newsletters, as well as external platforms including social media and press releases.
- Support campaign planning, measurement, and adherence to brand guidelines.
- Assist with event coordination and employee engagement initiatives.
- Help with ad hoc projects and tasks to support the Communications team.
What you'll need#
- Currently enrolled in your 2nd or 3rd year of an undergraduate degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- Strong writing and editing skills, with the ability to read and write in a specific brand tone.
- High attention to detail.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Confidence in building relationships.
