About the role#
The Angus Media Marketing Internship offers hands-on experience at the American Angus Association. You will work with our team to support marketing campaigns for cattle producers. This role involves email marketing, graphic design, digital advertising, social media, and data analytics.
What you'll do#
- Create and optimize email campaigns by crafting content, building emails, and managing distribution.
- Monitor email performance and generate reports.
- Design graphics for sale books, print ads, digital ads, and social media while collaborating with our design team.
- Maintain brand consistency across all visual assets.
- Manage digital advertising campaigns and optimize ad copy.
- Produce social media content including photos and videos.
- Schedule posts, respond to inquiries, and engage with our audience.
- Collect and analyze campaign data to create performance reports.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate or graduate student.
- Major in agricultural communications, animal sciences, or journalism and communications.
- Demonstrated leadership through academic or extra-curricular activities.
- Interest in the cattle industry and Association work.
- Experience managing business social media accounts is preferred.
Location & details#
- Location: Saint Joseph, Missouri.
- Term: Summer 2027 (approximately late May to mid-August).
- Status: Full-time, on-site, and paid.
- Note: Weekend work and some travel are required.
