About the role#
The Talon Internship Program offers students a chance to learn about the beef industry by working directly with Angus breeders. You will gain experience in the day-to-day management of a ranch while being mentored by industry professionals. This is a paid, full-time, on-site opportunity.
What you'll do#
- Manage daily ranch operations.
- Prepare show cattle.
- Assist with artificial insemination and pregnancy checking.
- Support veterinary tasks.
- Maintain fences and irrigation systems.
- Attend industry events, conferences, and field days.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as a college sophomore, junior, senior, or graduate student.
- Major in an agricultural field.
- Age under 25.
