About the role#
Washington Gas is hiring several interns for a paid, full-time summer position. You will work alongside finance professionals to support business performance across the organization. This three-month term begins on June 1, 2027.
What you'll do#
- Assist with financial analysis, reporting, and data validation.
- Support accounting processes, budgeting, forecasting, and performance tracking.
- Prepare reports, dashboards, and presentations for internal stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather, analyze, and interpret financial information.
- Identify opportunities to improve processes through automation or best practices.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment as an undergraduate student in your sophomore or junior year at an accredited institution.
- Pursuing a degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and data analysis techniques.
- An analytical mindset with high attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
