About the role#
The Marketing & Communications student supports internal and external initiatives while gaining exposure to corporate communications. You will work with experienced professionals to contribute to projects that strengthen the company brand and improve the employee experience. This is a full-time, entry-level learning role based in downtown Calgary.
What you'll do#
- Draft and edit internal communications including emails, newsletters, and intranet updates.
- Support external communications by drafting social media posts and monitoring engagement.
- Help prepare presentation materials and communications for events.
- Participate in the planning and coordination of employee or community events.
- Assist with tracking and maintaining communications databases.
- Contribute ideas and provide support on ongoing communications projects.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a post-secondary program in Public Relations, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills with attention to detail.
- Comfort using Microsoft Office, specifically Word, PowerPoint, and Teams.
- Familiarity with design or social media tools.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team and manage multiple priorities with guidance.
- Creative, curious, and eager to learn in a professional environment.
- Legal entitlement to work in Canada.

- Location: Calgary, Alberta (On-site).
- Terms: Summer 2027, Fall 2027, Winter 2028, or Spring 2028.
- Status: Full-time and paid.
