About the role#
This is a paid, full-time internship for Summer 2027 based in Houston, Texas. You will join the Communications and Public Affairs team to support internal and external initiatives, including global employee communications and media relations. This role requires frequent travel, between 25 and 40 percent of the time, to visit various Phillips 66 field sites.
What you'll do#
- Work on projects across internal and external communications.
- Collaborate with various business functions to build technical and professional skills.
- Participate in ongoing coaching conversations with your manager and work with an assigned mentor.
- Attend orientation events, training, and weekly seminars.
- Give a final presentation to senior business leaders and stakeholders regarding your experience and insights.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Master degree program in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Advertising, or Visual Communications.
- Completion of more than 60 college credit hours.
- A graduation date of December 2027 or later.
- Availability for at least eleven continuous weeks.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.
