About the role#
MFA Oil Company offers paid internships for college students. You will work alongside a full-time employee mentor to develop your professional skills. Interns are placed into departments based on their skillset and interests, such as Sales and Marketing, Information Technology, Accounting and Finance, Human Resources, or Business Management. You will work on an assigned project to apply your skills and gain experience. This is a full-time position working 30 to 40 hours per week during the summer of 2027.
What you'll do#
- Provide general administrative assistance and support.
- Learn and master the operations of your assigned department.
- Assist team members with various tasks.
- Complete an assigned project to test and grow your skills.
What you'll need#
- Sophomore status or higher with a GPA of 2.5 or above. Freshman standing will also be considered.
- Ability to commute to the work location.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Good time management and communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and customer service abilities.
- Ability to work well in a team and build professional relationships.
- Self-motivation and initiative.
- Relevant coursework in Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Marketing, Computer Science, or other related fields.
