About the role#
As a Commercial Marine intern, you will gain hands-on experience by completing projects that support our marine operations. You will analyze energy markets, develop solutions for customer challenges, and work alongside recent graduates and experienced leaders. This role provides exposure to our various marine functions, including global chartering, marine terminals, and operations.
What you'll do#
- Complete value-adding projects for the Commercial Marine organization.
- Utilize Microsoft Excel, Tableau, and other specific applications to support your work.
- Participate in regular coaching conversations with your manager to receive feedback and guidance.
- Interact with functional leaders, mentors, and peers through seminars, social activities, and field trips.
- Give a final presentation to senior business leaders and stakeholders summarizing your project work and experience.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program in a marine-related field, such as Marine Business Administration, Marine Transportation, or Marine Engineering.
- Completion of at least 60 hours of college credit.
- An expected graduation date of August 2027 or later.
- Ability to work for a minimum of ten continuous weeks.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

- This is a full-time, paid summer 2027 internship.
- The role is based on-site at our headquarters in Houston, Texas.
