About the role#
This summer internship provides experience within the marketing operations of Aramco Americas. You will work directly with a manager and mentor to learn how the company supports crude oil sales and distribution in the North American market. The program includes technical guidance, lab training, and development courses.
What you'll do#
- Learn the core functions of the Saudi Aramco Crude Oil Sales and Marketing department.
- Communicate with vendors and customers to support logistics.
- Analyze crude quality and quantity using inspection and loss control reports.
- Review and verify freight invoices, including lightering and inspection costs.
- Update the internal marketing operations manual.
- Coordinate North American marketing functions.
- Evaluate Saudi crude oil performance against competitors.
- Analyze market trends, supply and demand, and price differentials.
- Review refinery economics, crude slate decisions, and margin drivers.
- Summarize EIA data regarding crude stocks, refinery runs, and product demand.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a degree program for Business Administration, Management Information Systems, Marketing, Economics, Marine Transportation Engineering, or Chemical Engineering.
Location & details#
- This is an on-site, full-time, paid internship based in Houston, Texas for the summer of 2027.
- The role is eligible for internship course credit.
