About the role#
The Transformation Office Summer Student role provides administrative and analytical support to the Houston team. You will work on tasks related to contract and financial analysis, customer communication, and affiliate management. This role requires you to work with minimal direction, meaning you must determine the best way to achieve goals and deliver final work products. You will also work closely with attorneys on a variety of assignments.
What you'll do#
- Support the quality, consistency, and timeliness of quarterly reports.
- Compile and validate information from files, spreadsheets, presentations, and email.
- Prepare materials in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Maintain source and action trackers.
- Document how services are defined, delivered, measured, and improved.
- Organize source files and create repeatable templates to reduce manual work.
- Collect and summarize customer feedback and service performance information.
- Develop an understanding of the service management environment, including service catalogs, ownership, and performance measures.
- Maintain confidentiality and document control.
What you'll need#
- Enrollment in a degree program such as Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or Operations Management.
- Strong writing, analytical, and organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Interest in transformation, process improvement, data governance, and customer service.
