About the role#
We are looking for an Information Technology Co-op Student to join our team for a 16-month term starting in May 2027. This position reports to the Supervisor, Technology Support and is based in Calgary. You will work on-site and support our internal technology operations.
What you'll do#
- Respond to service desk inquiries from service requests, incidents, and in-person visits.
- Diagnose and resolve issues with desktop hardware and applications.
- Log all requests and incidents in ServiceNow.
- Maintain knowledge base documentation for problem resolutions.
- Deploy desktop operating systems using Microsoft SCCM and Intune.
- Travel to field locations as required.
What you'll need#
- Currently in your second or third year of a Bachelor degree in Computer Science, Business Technology Management, or a related field.
- You must be returning to school after the completion of this co-op term.
- Experience supporting Microsoft Windows 11 and the Microsoft Office 365 suite.
- Familiarity with oil and gas industry applications such as geoLOGIC, geoSCOUT, Peloton ProdView, Peloton WellView, and SAP Fiori.
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, mobile devices, SharePoint online, and networking concepts.
- Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
- The ability to manage multiple tasks and follow defined processes.
