About the role#
We are seeking an Asset Integrity Engineering Summer Student to join our team for a 4-month term starting in May 2027. You will work with Field Operators and various asset teams across Facilities, Production, Surface Land, Safety, Environmental Sustainability, and Regulatory. This role provides an opportunity to enhance your understanding of safety, operational, and cost performance regarding our integrity systems and assets.
What you'll do#
- Create GAP analysis for asset integrity systems including PIRM, MaxiTrak, and Cambio.
- Validate field assets by field truthing pressure equipment and pipeline physical assets.
- Facilitate the integration of corporate systems into asset integrity systems for planning and budgeting.
- Manage KPI tracking and system building.
- Assist in the development and building of asset integrity programs and standards.
- Collaborate with technical teams to gain a holistic understanding of asset performance.
- Travel to field locations as required.
What you'll need#
- Currently in your second or third year of a Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Materials Engineering, or a Welding Engineering Technology program.
- Returning to school for the following term.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license with experience driving on rural roads.
- Intermediate skills in MS Office/365, specifically Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Experience with industry-related software and visualization tools.
- Strong computer and data analysis skills.
- Ability to work independently within a team environment and manage multiple responsibilities.
- Exceptional written and oral communication skills.
- Willingness to learn with a strong attention to detail.

- This role is safety sensitive, requiring the successful candidate to complete drug and alcohol testing.
