About the role#
HMH is hiring a Supply Chain Finance Intern for the Summer 2027 term. This is a full-time, on-site position based in Houston, Texas. You will gain exposure to business operations, interact with various departments, and develop professional communication skills while working with leadership.
What you'll do#
- Lead supply chain audits and assist with fixed asset audits.
- Document processes and perform audits for engineering and manufacturing labor vouchering.
- Work on supply chain process improvement projects.
- Identify and analyze cost-out opportunities.
- Handle other duties as assigned to support the finance team.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a Bachelor or Graduate degree program, preferably in Finance or Accounting.
- A minimum GPA of 3.0.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
- A strong work ethic and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a larger team.
- Good interpersonal skills to collaborate across functions.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States without employer sponsorship.
