About the role#
This internship supports the Logistics and Storage Engineering (L&SE) team. You will work alongside project engineers to manage projects through the five phases of the Marathon Project Management Process. This includes the conceptual, feasibility, definition, implementation, and close-out stages.
What you'll do#
- Partner with engineers to support project lifecycles.
- Create and maintain project schedules, including tracking milestones and planning resources.
- Manage cost control tasks like forecasting, accruals, and cost allocation.
- Monitor project metrics and key performance indicators across a portfolio.
- Prepare status updates and reports for management.
What you'll need#
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Accounting, or Finance. Other business majors may be considered.
- Current enrollment in a degree program for the duration of the internship.
- Strong academic performance.
- Ability to work on site 40 hours per week.
- Valid driver's license for work-related travel.
- Reliable transportation to and from the work site.
- Authorization to work in the United States, including the need for employer sponsorship now or in the future.
