About the role#
This internship provides on-the-job training within the petroleum industry. You will work within the Controller's Organization, gaining exposure to various business areas. The program focuses on developing your analytical skills through practical assignments and collaboration with different departments.
What you'll do#
- Analyze and process business documents.
- Prepare general ledger account reconciliations.
- Prepare tax information.
- Test SOX and Non-SOX controls in auditing.
- Assist in preparing budgets.
What you'll need#
- Current enrollment in a bachelor's degree or higher program with a major in Accounting.
- Strong academic performance.
- Ability to work 40 hours per week.
- Authorization to work in the US on a full-time indefinite basis without the need for visa sponsorship.
